How can Pilates help with Healing?
This class is provided for you so that you can get the healing benefits of Pilates with ease. There is no need for you to leave the house, no need for you to go to a class and interact with an instructor or other attendees if you are not ready to do so. The class is free for you to download and can be done from the comfort and safety of your home.
It has been specifically designed with you and your experiences in mind. Modification is important in Pilates and all of the exercises have been developed with modifications that can make any Pilates workout safe, and at the same time challenging enough for you to get the benefits, no matter what level of experience and practice you are at. We at LOLA hope that it will aid your physical and emotional recovery after losing your baby, and after your experience of labour and delivery.

Pilates for Healing with Kate Handy.
In this video, Kate provides an introduction for you to basic Pilates movement. She explains how to get the most out of each movement, maximising its benefit for your physical and emotional healing. Kate takes you through each movement in some detail, so that you can feel the maximum benefit. They are designed for you to practise initially with Kate. When you feel stronger, you may choose to focus on the movements you find particularly helpful and practise them in your own time, and at your own pace.
